Voltaire's Romances, Complete in One Volume by Voltaire
The book needs to be read, though the five stars are not given for all his works. This book is hit and miss, being either sublime or soporific. Read 'The White Bull', 'Zadig', 'The Princess of Babylon' and 'The sincere Huron'. Ignore the rest - you have better things to do with your time!

Thought provoking - one doesn't have to necessarily agree with Nietzsche's opinions to learn from what he writes. A lot of people may take issue with what he says but I think it's worth a read even though he does, at times, sound more like an angry teenager than one of the most respected philosophers the world has seen.

If you're looking for something easy to read and quite entertaining this book does the job for the most part. First book of this type I've read - starts off well but becomes a bit of a snooze fest as the novelty wears off. Entertaining, however, when being read as part of a drunken group!
