2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing, 3 Jan 2014
Fairly typical Roddy Doyle 'feel' to this, but it hasn't really captured my imagination. It doesn't move quickly enough through the plot to maintain my interest - it's been on the go for a few weeks now and I just want to finish it and get on with the next book, but it doesn't keep calling me back to be read.
500 Bowls: Contemporary Explorations of a Timeless&hellip by Suzanne Tortillot
Having been so pleased with 500 Pitchers I looked at the other Lark books and opted for this one as other reviews were good. It has not disappointed - great source of ideas.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great source of ideas, 3 Jan 2014
This was shown to me by my pottery instructor on a pottery holiday in France. It's a rich source of ideas with basic construction and decorating information that is very useful. I go to it when I'm looking for a new idea. Bought a used copy for an absolute steal,
