Riddick [DVD] DVD ~ Vin Diesel
Riddick [DVD] DVD ~ Vin Diesel
Perhaps stung by some of the criticism levelled against Chronicles, we return to the style and basic storyline of Pitch Black and Riddick is none the worse for this. What you get is entertaining Sci Fi with Vin Diesel doing what he does best. The first 20 minutes details his resurrection from the second instalment which helps give continuity.
This film is certainly not deep and meaningful, but is relatively full of action, with reasonable special effects and good characterisation by the cast. If you enjoyed Pitch Black, this should be right up your street but be aware that it contains strong language and violence.
WD 500GB 2.5 inch USB 3.0 Elements Portable Extern&hellip by Western Digital
This is a neat and well proportioned hard drive package that attaches to a windows based computer without problems. No software to manually load for my Windows 7 machine, simply plug and play. I purchased this as a backup drive for video files thus saving my computer from running out of memory. It took approximately 3 minutes to transfer a 4gb file using a USB 2 port, so not too bad in the speed stakes. Being capable of USB 3 also means that it is somewhat future proofed as well.
For a 500gb drive from a known manufacturer, this WD Elements drive seems pretty good value for money but please note that if you find the supplied cable too short, you cannot connect a standard USB 2 cable to… Read more
Transparent Clear Crystal Hard Case Cover For 11 I&hellip by PP Shop

Looking at the hard case when unpacked, it doesn't inspire much confidence. The material seems delicate and it has left me thinking that it won't stand the test of time. However, the fitment is exact and I found the best way to install was to put the back end of each piece on first, to take some of the initial pressure away from the clips which hold it in position. Now it's on, it looks more purposeful and I certainly prefer this than the idea of the vinyl wrap type of protection that is available.
At the moment then, it deserves a four star rating, subject to it's longevity.
