As someone who has tried several different detox programs I learned quite a few things I didn’t know from reading this book. When I hear the terms ‘Detox’ or ‘Cleanse’ I immediately think of juice fasting - which I hate! I don’t want to drink juice all day for 3 days and not eat anything.
But with the Detox Dictionary I came across awesome cleanses I had never even heard of, some are strictly juice diets, some are dietary and there’s even one for the skin. My personal favorite is the 48 hour cleanse by Dr Oz, mainly because I know him from his own show (The Dr Oz Show) and he encourages eating raw vegetables. Something which I already do.
