This is the worst season in the history of the television series. The writing for it is terrible it's filled with countless rhyming and alliteration and with repetitive three strikes formula that is the same with every engine. Pretty much like this ('On the Island of Sodor..., engine of the day, special job for a party or something, messes up job one, two then three and realises his/her's mistake, maybe gets scolded by the fat controller or put things right on his/her's own, does it right one more time and they all giggle and jiggle) pretty much in every episode, minus one which is two strikes. I'm not much of a fan of Thomas & Friends between S13-16 due to its writing. But the animation is amazing to look at. The writing is filled with repetition, rhyming and alliteration but looking at Nitrogen's animation it saves the series from being bad with its attention to detail towards the characters and setting.

The CGI is good there's nothing wrong with that, but the writing of the episode is repetitive and filled of rhyming and alliteration many kids might enjoy that but there can be some that prefer a story that is sweet and simple like in the early years of Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends. However, Australia's version only has one episode that I find OK with and that is 'Pingy Pongy Pickup'. It's a shame that the UK has to have four uninteresting episodes but… Read more
