The Complicated Roof - a cut and stack workbook: C&hellip by Will Holladay
5.0 out of 5 stars something different, 23 July 2012
this book shows the process and maths of cutting a large complicated roof, like a carpenters cutting list published for your eyes and provides an insight of how the best roof framing is done, this is a partner book of 'roof cutters secrets' tho so if you dont own that, that should be your first purchase..an essential purchase nothing else like it!
3.0 out of 5 stars hmm..., 8 May 2012
these are not great, for starters the packaging (little white tabs holding in place) bent the squares permanently so the edges are poor, second they are very low profile so getting a straight line without the pencil popping off is not good, i like the square protractor! but the MM were not accurate, is more a kids school toy and not up to my professional trigonometry needs, i bought a helix compass recently and that was crappy too, i expect more, seems they make a junk line and a normal line...this is somewhere inbetween 3 stars cos they wont break or get mislaid the pink makes me look cool on site!
