The original FRIGHTMARE i saw at the cinema in the 70's was a classic British horror, claustrophobic, grim, very bloody and morbid and frighteningly real with fine performances by Sheila Keith and Rupert Davis,Keith is a cannibalistic granny figure who reads peoples tarot cards and lets them stay for lunch... with them on the menu, she turns very nasty at the drop of a hat Rupert Davis plays her husband who covers up her attrocities.I intended buy the vhs version wich is heavily censored,so,i preordered the dvd,i hope the dvd release is the full monty because theres no excuses to censor this masterpiece in the days of HOSTEL and SAW.

Being a big fan of martial arts movies no matter what, i bought this never thinking it had anything to do with the 'Big Boss' Bruce Lee made and indeed it wasn't,it never comes close, but,it is fun action packed and if you enjoy these movies you take the bad dubbing, stolen sound bites and everything else in your stride even if sometimes you think you are watching an old episode of the Benny Hill show.If ever a sequel or rip off lived up to it's original Fist Of Fury 2 would be a fine example, this is not, but, its still far better than an episode of Eastenders.
