5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent vfm, 29 Dec 2012
I did a lot of research when I decided to replace my 10 year old desk top. The review by Paul Madge here on Amazon struck a real chord with me, as I wanted to do much the same as the senior citizen he was puchasing a Lenovo for. I decided to go for it, and in so doing turned down many recommendations that what I really needed was a Mac at twice the price. I am absolutely delighted with that choice. It is fast, responsive and blissfully easy to use. In short, it does everything I need it to do without managing to confuse or frustrate (an effect Macs manage to have on me when I have to use them, despite my best efforts). Highly recommended and excellent value for money.

This collection provides the most notable exception and features Nat with a small but highly select group of supporting jazz musicians. He sings on every track, in that familiar, polished way, and the results are sublime.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good all rounder, 18 Dec 2009
Although my wife is an excellent cook and I'm no mean shakes myself when she lets me loose, neither of us have done much by way of making our own pickles. We bought this book as we thought it would provide a good introduction to the various techniques and so it has proved. There is a generous amount of information to get you started, which is easy to follow and well illustrated. The recipe section contains a sufficiently broad cross-section to cater for just about everyone's tastes, and again, although we've yet to try many of them, the instructions look pretty clear and straightforward. It's just what we were looking for but, if you're already an accomplished pickler, it may be a tad basic… Read more
