Winter's Touch (Immortal Touch Book 1) by Allie Gail
4.0 out of 5 stars A Pleasant Suprise, 17 April 2013
This book was written by a friends wife and to be honest that is the only reason I brought this. Given the current trend in Vampire novels I would never have picked this up.

Thankfully the author knows that vampires are monsters and Julian Winter is a brilliantly callous villain.

The book is well written and both main characters are well developed. Supporting characters were a little lacking but hopefully they can be expanded on in later books. Story was easy to follow if slightly predictable in places but still kept me entertained for a few days.

Looking forward to the next book.
Draper 40850 70-Piece Screwdriver, Socket and Bit &hellip by Draper
5.0 out of 5 stars Good Household Set, 17 Mar 2013
Good sturdy case and a wide selection of drivers and bits.

The flexible driver connection is quite handy though a little difficult to screw tight with it and virtually impossible to loosen anything. The telescopic magnet is damn hand for fishing out screws from the back of radiators or the like and the sockets will be appreciated by anyone who has ever brought flat pack furniture and had to make do with stupidly small flat aluminium spanner they supply.

Most people should find a good use for this.
Visconti Leather Messenger Bag / Briefcase for the&hellip by Visconti

Wanted a replacement for my rather battered looking rucksack.

After looking around I decided to go for a messenger bag as they tend to offer better protection for tablet devices then most rucksacks do.

Really liked the look of these bags and so far it is an excellent product. Mine comfortably holds my Kindle, Blackberry Playbook, Creative MP3 player (fits nicely in the mobile phone slot which in all honesty is a little small for most modern mobiles). Several spare pens and travel cards, compact brolly, note books and a few other everyday bits and pieces as well as lunch. All stored much more neatly then the rucksack and much smarter looking too.

Very well… Read more
