was a quick read, but i did struggle to keep all the details straight. best charatcer in the book is the schizophrenic homeless guy that shane runs over at the beginning of the book and he just keeps turning up and bugging the crap out of shane.

at 537 pages it looks like its a bit of a slog but as you slowly get into the story it doesnt seem so bad. morgana was taken from her dying mothers arms as she was the soul heir to her fortune. 20 years later she resurfaces as pip, pickpocket and disguised as a boy. set up by the one eyed man to rob royce manchester this is where her life turns around. as the attraction between them grows the plot thickens about her true identity and the race is on to discover the one eyed man's real identity. great read!
Just Like Heaven: Number 1 in series (Smythe-Smith&hellip by Julia Quinn

the infamous symthe-smith musicales from the bridgerton series are the link from that series to this one as this series is all about the smythe-smith family. this time its honoria and she does know that they are terrible but enjoys them anyway for all the other reasons. Marcus Holroyd has a lonely childhood until he met daniel, who is honoria brother and became part of the family so when honoria and marcus discover they have feelings for each other it unsettles both of them but there's nothing like a good leg wound to bring the lovebirds together. great to see fsmiliar faces from the bridgerton series returning.
