My father was lucky enough to have a pair of these he'd imported before the freeze in late 2010. While I was dangerously close to slipping to my death with every step on the icy pavements and roads, my father was walking effortlessly along even the worst ice. He also enjoyed walking up frozen, steep slopes just to confound onlookers (who did not realise he was wearing cleats). My father wore his Diamond Grip cleats all through the frozen period and reported that they did not lose grip over time, nor did they become uncomfortable even on patches of ground which were not frozen.

I bought these after my Grado SR-80 headphones fell apart after years of headbanging abuse. While the sound quality on the Grado headphones was superb, I found their hard foam, perfectly circular cans incredibly painful on my ears after long sessions.

The Denon AH-D1001 headphones cause no such problem. Their big, shaped, cushioned earpieces are incredibly comfortable. However, the Denon headphones use a closed speaker design, whereas I was used to Grado open design. In comparison, the Denon headphones sounded like listening to music through mufflers, and this took a long time to get used to. Fellowes Powershred DS-1 Cross-Cut Shredder with S&hellip by Fellowes
I've had this shredder for over a year now, and it's still going strong. Though I'll point out that I don't use it for high volume shredding, just occasional use.

The only problem I've had with the Fellowes DS-1 is that the Safe Sense Touch Guard feature worked only for a short while before becoming very temperamental. The idea is that the Safe Sense turns off the shredder as soon as human skin makes contact with the metal guard around the shredder mouth. This worked fine for a while, but then flicked on and off so that shredding would stop repeatedly even if no human was within a metre of the shredder.
