Thief (PS3) by Square Enix
Thief (PS3) by Square Enix
3.0 out of 5 stars Feels somewhat genuine, 21 April 2014
After having played the previous three Thief games on PC, I have to say, this version feels somewhat genuine to the franchise. When you're playing, it does feel strangely consistent with how the originals were (only the graphics have improved dramatically).

Some aspects of the game are quite enjoyable, I will admit. The challenge of sneaking around in shadows and hiding in dark alleys, crawling through sewers and trying to keep out of sight while speedily working to unlock safes and grab loot before you're caught is still there. Combat is just as awkward as it always was (which is intentional, as Thief isn't meant to be a 'fighter' game, it's meant to be a stealth game). It… Read more
Angel (The Angel Trilogy, Book 1) by L.A. Weatherly
The book starts off as being fairly readable and the premise of angels being this parasitic demon alien type race bent on world domination is one I hadn't seen before.

However the characters are SO bloody stereotypical and boring that it hurt the book immensely to where it gets harder to read. Everything about Willow Fields is as stereotypically Mary-Jane as it comes. She's perfect, she's slim, she's beautiful, and by god, she even fixes cars AND she's psychic to boot.

Then there's Alex, his backstory might have been interesting if it hadn't been the usual family revenge aspect that everyone goes for in these stories. He, like Willow, is written to be utterly perfect,… Read more
Hello Kitty Tween Inflatable Chill Chair by Worlds Apart
4.0 out of 5 stars Nice, 20 April 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Nice little chair, looks nice up close and I was assured it's very comfy. Have noticed the air is slowly leaking out of it a wee but but that's something that tends to happen with most inflatable objects that are put under pressure. Would be good for taking on holiday camping so your kid has somewhere to chill out in the evening, and it can be deflated and thrown in a bag or the car.

Doesn't look like a cheap inflatable chair which is a bonus!
