I confess babies and motherhood books etc don't really do it for me but I read this after a friend raved about it to me.I was as surprised as anyone to find myself reading 'just one more page' before I put it down (I got to a third of the book just 'reading one more page') What can I say about it? Refined older chick-lit. The pregnancy thing didn't get in the way for me because the real story is about friendships between characters that talk just the way I talk to my own friends - and I feel as if I would know them if I ever met them in the street (most odd!), so many lines that made me laugh out loud, storylines that made me physically sob (even odder for me as a hard old childless… Read more
