4.0 out of 5 stars So enjoyed this, 15 Feb 2014
Simply, i do not do reviews. But on this occasion i will simply write a recommendation. I enjoyed this book. I enjoyed it very much. It pulled together many themes in a beautiful unexpected way.

I like research well done. The historical detail, often not really needed, that anchors the story telling in historical reality. We Irish like Kennedy ... Or the perception of Kennedy. It entertains me and makes me care about the characters. Some i hate, some i love, some i feel anxiety for.

Enough. Buy… Read more

I love it, Slovenians I know who have used it love it. What better recommendation could there be. Lonely Planet has over the decades changed tourist/traveller guides.

1.0 out of 5 stars Poor, 2 Aug 2013
Poor grammar, poor spelling, poor use of apostrophes. It might be a good even gripping story, I was tempted by the opening pages, but the banal dialogue just put me off. A book in search of an editor. If an author wants to use the F word (I have no problem with that, but the moderators here might) then it is "f***in' mouth" as in "sinkin' ship" not "f**k'n mouth" as in "rock 'n roll". Enough.
