Cakewalk provides its own, very detailed reference manual for Sonar spanning a couple of thousand pages. In addition Cakewalk has quite a comprehensive online help resource.These are fine if you want to know the technical details of the software. However, at the end of the day all it tells you is which button to press in order to bring up a function. Just as a car manual doesn't by itself make driving a pleasure, Cakewalk's own reference manual doesn't exactly inspire you to make music.
