Situated on one of Londons busiest shopping areas, Regent Street, the giant emporium occupies six huge floors packed full of toys and games, is one of Londons most popular tourist attractions, welcoming in excess of five million visitors each year.

The shop was founded by William Hamley, a Cornishman from Bodmin in 1760. The original shop was called Noahs Ark and was based in Holborn. Over a century later in 1881, William Hamleys grandsons opened up the Regent Street branch near Piccadilly Circus where the shop has remained since and has been the leading toy shop in Europe for over 250 years.

Hamleys keeps up with the latest gadgets and trends as well as stocking the more time-honoured toys.
