I have the same problem, even if I reset my Kindle it still asks for my Kindle password which of course it doesn't accept. HELPFUL responses would be appreciated.....

Which Kindle? They're all different. You will need to reset your Kindle if it won't accept your password - the instructions can be found by logging onto your Amazon account and going to help and then Kindle help and finding a picture of your Kindle and looking for forgotten password and it will tell you what to do.

Unless you say which Kindle you have no one CAN help you.

IF you reset your Kindle to factory default settings, then it will NOT be asking for the Kindle password. It absolutely will still need your WiFi passcode and your Amazon account password. But it wont need the Kindle password.
If you have restarted the Kindle (using the 20 seconds hold on the power button), then it might still ned the Kindle password, but it shouldn't need either the WiFi password or the amazon account password. - as they will be remembered.

Hence the Qs that need answers from you: WHICH password are you having problems with? And on which type if Kindle, as the solutions are different.

Thanks Damaskat.
On the Amazon website my Kindle is called a KINDLE, not a Kindle Paperwhite, not a Kindle Fire (of ANY type), or any other type of Kindle that your diseased mind believes that Amazon has produced - BUT A KINDLE!!!!! And thanks also for the info about "going to help and then Kindle help and finding a picture of your Kindle and looking for forgotten password and it will tell you what to do."
It doesn't.
Why don't you do us all a favour and go and troll some other help forum.....

If I go to the help pages I see this picture and this description for a Kindle
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/customer/display.html/ref=hp_200127470_kindle_img?ie=UTF8&nodeId=200686790

YOU are the one that needs help! We are just telling you what you need to do.
If you want to, complain to Amazon that all of their devices are called "Kindles" - but they are all different! Unless we know which device you have, we can not help you any further. That is YOUR loss, not ours.

But you still haven't told us which of the many passwords it is that YOU have forgotten...

Then it is the basic Kindle.

No my mind isn't diseased and the information I provided should enable you to find the solution to your problem.
