1) where does it say they're not available?
2) which Amazon site did you buy them from?
3) in which country is your device registered?

I to find the availability of titles to be poor. There is also an unnecessary wait for titles to be available for Kindle.

Almost 3,000,000 and you call that poor availability??? Not sure what you're reading but if I had several life times I still wouldn't run out of books to read even if no more were ever published!! Most books I find are published simultaneously in e-book and hard back/paperback these days so it is really only authors' back catalogues anyone is waiting for, These take time since if the book is very old there may not be a digital version and publishers have to negotiate new contracts with authors - or with their literary executors.

You must complain to the owner of the digital rights if you have issues with the length of time they're taking to make books available. In some instances authors don't allow books to be released in any digital format.

As for "availability", I have no idea what you mean. My problem is that there are more books available that I'd like to read and not enough "life" left in order to do so. I now have more and easier access than I've ever had in my whole life.
