How can I cancel an accidental book order for Kindle, when I wanted / want the print version?

I cannot find out how to cancel a Kindle book order made by mistake, from my PC. I want the print copy (£14.63) as a reference book, and thought I was adding it to Basket, then discovered I had accidentally used "One-click ordering" for the Kindle version (£8.23). (If each were less expensive, I'd accept my misake and get both versions.) In my Account, this order is "Pending" and "Open", presumably not fulfilled until or unless I download it . But there seems to be NO cancellation option. (It occurs to me I could simply never download it... but would prefer to cancel the order.) Anyone know how?

Look to the right for Kindle Tools and click on Manage Your Kindle. Find the book and click on Actions. Select return for refund.

Thanks very much for telling me what to do!

It usually takes (for me) a few working days for the credit to appear on my Credit Card although purchases made with a Gift Card balance are often credited very quickly.

Can I swap books between my own Kindle and my wife's? It would be easier than keep on swapping Kindles as I read faster than my wife (she says she has less time to read!)

You can only share books when both devices are registered to the same account. If you have separate Amazon accounts swapping Kindles is all you can do.

Thanks for the guidance Denis, I don't think it is worth trying to combine the accounts.

In normal circumstances Amazon doesn't allow accounts to be combined.
