What payment methods can I use for an order from a Seller?

You can use the same credit or debit card you use for purchases from Amazon.co.uk to pay for items you buy from Sellers on Amazon Marketplace. Your credit or debit card details aren't passed to the Seller; making it safe and secure.

Any Gift Certificate balance on your account can also be used towards orders from Sellers although you won't be able to use "promotional" gift certificates.

How does Amazon Marketplace payments work?

When you buy an item from a Seller at Amazon.co.uk we reserve the funds from your payment card until your order is dispatched. Upon dispatch, we'll charge your payment card and pass the funds to the Seller. You don't need to worry about security; we never pass any details about your payment method (such as a card number) to Sellers. All transactions are processed through Amazon's secure servers.

Can I get an invoice for an order from a Seller, if I need one?

The purchase confirmation e-mail sent by Amazon.co.uk can serve as a record of your purchase so please feel free to print a copy of this for your records. If you need a VAT invoice, you'll need to contact the Seller directly to ask for one, unless the item was Fulfilled by Amazon, in which case you should contact us by clicking the "Contact Us" button on the right of this page.
