Getting Paid

When you list an item for the first time on our Amazon Marketplace platform, you will be required to register in order to receive funds.

You will also need to provide

After a purchase is made and you have sent Amazon confirmation that the order has been dispatched, the payment from the buyer is processed and the amount is credited to your Seller Account.  Buyer refunds, seller fees, and other transactions are balanced against payments received from sales.

To receive funds, you must provide bank account information for an account in the US, United Kingdom or a country within the Eurozone (Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Spain). Payments will be made in US dollars to a US bank account, pounds sterling (GBP) to a UK bank account, or Euros to a bank account located in any country within the Eurozone. See the Amazon Currency ConverterTM for Sellers - FAQ for more information about receiving payment for sales in your local currency.

The funds in your seller account will automatically be disbursed every 14 days into your bank account. You may also request more frequent disbursements, up to once every 24 hours. For more information, see Transferring Funds to Your Bank Account.

If you're a new seller, there is an initial 14-day holding period before funds will be released from your Seller Account. This holding period is a very important security requirement and you will not be able to disburse funds to your checking account during this time. Once you have received your first automatic disbursement, you will be eligible to disburse funds yourself.

To sign up, you must have a UK, Austrian, French, German or US bank account and UK or internationally-chargeable credit card with valid billing address and phone number from one of the countries supported by Amazon. There are no exceptions to this policy.

Below is the general timeline for the first disbursement for a new seller. See our New Seller Getting Paid FAQ for additional information
