Order With Release Day Delivery

When you place a pre-order for an item offering Release Day Delivery and you select either First Class or One-Day Delivery (available for eligible postcodes only), Amazon.co.uk will dispatch your order prior to the release day, with the intention that it arrives with you on the actual release day.

Release Day Delivery is only available for items displaying the Release Day Delivery offer message on their product description pages. Items that don't display the Release Day Delivery offer message aren't eligible for this service.

  1. Place an eligible item in your Shopping Basket and click the Proceed to checkout button.
  2. Select your delivery address.
  3. You'll see "get it on its release day" in green next to the available delivery method(s). You must select either First Class or One-Day Delivery to get Release Day Delivery. If you don't see the message "get it on its release day", your order isn't eligible for Release Day Delivery.
  4. Once it becomes too late to select First Class delivery for Release Day Delivery the green "get it on its release day" message will only appear next to One-Day Delivery (see the Terms & Conditions for further details).

Note:

  • Please ensure that your order only contains the item that is eligible for Release Day Delivery. If you have other items in your Basket, we recommend that you place separate orders for these items.
  • Payment for your pre-order is taken when your item is dispatched to you. If you choose to pay by credit or debit card, please make sure that the expiry date of your payment card is after the release day.

If you need to make changes to your order, you should do so no later than four days before the release day if you chose First Class delivery and no later than two days before the release day if you chose One-Day delivery. Any changes to your order, for example changes to the delivery address or delivery option, may affect your order's eligibility for Release Day Delivery or FREE Release Day Delivery (as applicable).

Although a signature isn't required for most Release Day Delivery items, some deliveries will require a signature and we can't guarantee that our carrier will leave a package at the delivery address if no one's available to accept it. If the package isn't left on your doorstep on the release date, the carrier should leave a note explaining your options for re-delivery or picking up the package.
