Video Game Console Condition Criteria

During the trade-in submission process, you'll be asked to choose the condition of your video game console. This table outlines the criteria for each condition.

Typical elements included with a video game console: console, controller(s), bundled game(s), cables, user manual, and EAN (or UPC).

Like New Good Acceptable

  • The video game console is in perfect working condition.
  • The console has been opened but original manufacturer packaging and all original accessories are intact.
  • There is no visible wear or personalisation.

  • The video game console, packaging and all original elements are included, but it shows wear from normal use.
  • Console remains in working condition.
  • Console may have light scratches and other elements may have minor damage.
  • Handheld console has a flawless display (i.e. no dead spots or scratches).
  • Item may have been personalised (marked, engraved, or identified).

  • Item is fairly worn from consistent use.
  • Item remains in working condition.
  • The signs of wear can include scratches, dents, or minor cracks.
  • Handheld console has a working display (may have some dead spots or scratches).
  • Item may have been personalised (marked, engraved, or identified).
  • Item may be missing or have irreparable damage to one or all of the following: original packaging, bundled game(s), cables, user manual.

Video Games Consoles having one or more of the conditions listed below won't be accepted:

  • Water damaged.
  • Severely damaged/unusable.
  • Does not power on (even after charging).
  • Marked "Not for Resale" (or is otherwise marked not for sale).
