What's changed with my LOVEFiLM membership?
Your LOVEFiLM Instant membership has been renamed Prime Instant Video. You can get started now.
Your LOVEFiLM by Post service will stay exactly the same except it should now be accessed at Amazon.co.uk.
Your account details, Rental List, and Watchlist will be migrated over to Amazon after you switch your account.
Will there be any changes to my monthly payments?
No, your monthly membership fee won't change. However, there will be some changes on your bank statement:
You'll have 2 separate charges if your membership includes both Prime Instant Video and LOVEFiLM By Post memberships.

What actions do I need to take?
You need to switch your account from LOVEFiLM to Amazon in order to continue using your membership benefits. You can switch here.
When you start switching you'll be asked to log in using your LOVEFiLM account details. After the LOVEFiLM login, we'll ask you to enter your Amazon account details. If you don’t have an Amazon account you can easily create one during the switching process.
If you’ve forgotten your LOVEFiLM or Amazon password, you’ll be able to reset it during the switching process. You’ll be asked to update your payment details and delivery address for your LOVEFiLM By Post membership.
Do I need to have an Amazon account already?
No, you can create one during the switching process.
Even if you have an Amazon account, you can create a new one if you don't want to switch your LOVEFiLM membership to your existing Amazon account.
What happens if I don't switch?
You won't be able to access your Prime Instant Video or LOVEFiLM By Post membership at Amazon.co.uk if you don't switch your account. Though you may still receive rental discs if you have titles on your Rental List, you won't be able to make any changes to your Rental List until you switch. You may still be charged for your membership during this time.
If you haven't switched by a certain point, we'll cancel your membership completely. We'll remind you to switch before this happens.
Should I create a new membership at Amazon and ignore my old LOVEFiLM account?
No, we strongly recommended that you switch your existing account. If you create a new membership at Amazon, you'll still have an active LOVEFiLM account and may be charged for both memberships.
What happens when I switch my LOVEFiLM account to an Amazon account?
After you switch, there won't be any additional steps to take. Your LOVEFiLM account settings and history such as your Watchlist and Rental list, watch and rental history, registered devices and parental control settings will be instantly migrated to your Amazon account.
What if I have an Amazon Prime membership and a LOVEFiLM account?

Can I connect my LOVEFiLM account to more than one Amazon account?
You won't be able to share a LOVEFiLM membership across multiple Amazon accounts. Pick one Amazon account through which you'd like to access your LOVEFiLM By Post membership, or create a new Amazon account specifically to share your service with other users.
My partner & I have separate LOVEFiLM accounts, but share our Amazon account – can we link our Amazon account to more than one LOVEFiLM account?
It isn't possible to share one Amazon account between multiple LOVEFiLM memberships. You'll need to use, or create, a separate Amazon account to link to each LOVEFiLM account.
I don't want to switch. How do I cancel my LOVEFiLM account?
If you decide you don't want to switch your account and would prefer to leave the LOVEFiLM By Post service, we'll be sorry to see you go. Click here to cancel your LOVEFiLM account now.
Once you've cancelled your account, you won't be able to reactivate it. If you decide to come back, you'll need to sign up for a new account at Amazon.co.uk
I received a disc that's broken and/or won’t play. What do I need to do?
Every disc is checked when it's returned to the Distribution Centre. However, sometimes small defects aren't detected or the disc may become damaged in transit. For further information, see Reporting a Problem.
Can I request some spare envelopes?
You can request an extra envelope here. Alternatively, you can send your discs back to us in a standard envelope and return it to:
I’ve lost/damaged a disc, what do I need to do?
If you’ve accidentally lost or damaged a disc, you can report it via the Report a Problem page. This will update your account and automatically apply a charge, £10 for DVD or £15.00 for Blu-ray, to your registered payment method.This page provides useful information about LOVEFiLM By Post.
