About the Cloud Drive Sync Application

The Cloud Drive Sync application lets you manage your Cloud Drive files from a folder stored locally on your PC or Mac computer.

Note: The Cloud Drive Sync application (formerly, the "Cloud Drive desktop application") is no longer available for download. If you already have the application installed on your computer, you can continue to use it. However, if you uninstall the application, you won't be able to reinstall it from the website.

The Cloud Drive Sync application is compatible with Mac computers running Mac OS X 10.6 and above, and Windows computers running Windows XP and above.

The app works by creating a Cloud Drive folder on your computer. Using drag-and-drop, you can then upload files to Cloud Drive or download them from Cloud Drive to your computer without opening the Cloud Drive website.


  • File names containing special characters, or ending with a space or a period may not be available with the Cloud Drive Sync application.
  • To upload files and folders to Windows PCs, we recommend using our new Cloud Drive Desktop application. To learn more, go to About Cloud Drive Desktop.
