What is One-Day Delivery

One-Day delivery is offered as the default delivery option for Amazon Prime customers (Prime members may view Amazon Prime Terms and Conditions here). If you are an Amazon Prime member and your order is eligible for free One-Day delivery, there is no delivery charge for your order. This delivery option is automatically selected for Amazon Prime members. Members can choose another available delivery option if preferred. This is a guaranteed service.

Amazon.co.uk Gift Cards: Purchases of Amazon.co.uk Gift Cards are eligible for Free One-Day delivery. To avoid delivery charges when ordering Amazon.co.uk Gift Cards with other items, please place a separate order for Amazon.co.uk Gift Cards.

Please note: A signature may be required on delivery of your parcel

If I request One-Day delivery, when will I receive my order?

1 business day after dispatch (please note that orders placed on Saturday will arrive on Monday and there are no deliveries on public holidays). After placing your order you can check the estimated delivery date of your order within Your Account.

Please note: Cancelling items, combining orders, or changing your delivery address or delivery options after you place the order might affect your eligibility for One-Day delivery.

How will it be delivered?

When you choose One-Day delivery, all items are dispatched by a combination of carriers. It is not possible to choose which carrier we use to dispatch your order.
Please check that there is no damage to the outer packaging. If there is damage to the other packaging please either, refuse delivery or sign for the package as damaged.

What if the estimated delivery date has passed and I still haven't received my order?

Orders that are fulfilled by Amazon.co.uk and dispatched via a trackable method will have tracking information available in Your Account. Please check this information if available and read through the following options:

If the tracking information indicates the package has been delivered, please check with your neighbours or family members. Packages are occasionally left with neighbours, a building manager, or are placed somewhere relatively safe, such as your porch or garage.
If the tracking information indicates the package is being returned to us, or if the address is incorrect, it may have been undeliverable.
It is recommended that you include a phone number that you can be contacted on, as part of your delivery address. This will ensure that if there is any issue with the delivery, the Carrier will be able to contact you.

The Fine Print

One-Day delivery applies only to Amazon Prime members on items marked as Amazon Prime eligible on product detail pages and to all customers purchasing Amazon.co.uk Gift Cards and/or any other item identified as being eligible for One-Day delivery. One-Day delivery does not apply to orders delivered outside the UK.

One-Day delivery applies to items sold by Amazon.co.uk via our website http://www.amazon.co.uk and does not apply to products purchased at Amazon.com, Amazon.de, Amazon.fr, Amazon.it, Amazon.co.jp, Amazon.ca or any other website operated by Amazon.co.uk, its affiliates or third-party merchants accessible from our site. One-Day delivery does not apply to any items purchased through Amazon.co.uk Marketplace unless otherwise stated.
Amazon.co.uk guarantees One-Day delivery of items by the estimated delivery date. For Express delivery and Evening delivery guarantees please see their respective terms and conditions.
For Amazon Prime members, if your order contains other items that are not eligible for One-Day delivery, we will automatically split your order. We will dispatch the items eligible for One-Day delivery and dispatch ineligible items as soon as they become available, subject to the appropriate delivery cost. For non -Amazon Prime members, you must place a separate order for each item eligible for One-Day delivery, in order to avoid any delivery charges.
There are no Sunday deliveries.
Regional holidays count as national holidays and both are exempt from One-Day delivery calculations.
One-Day delivery is not available for portions of Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Isles (including Shetlands, Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey), Cornwall, Northumberland, PO Boxes and BFPO addresses. Click here to see a list of postcodes that are NOT eligible for One-Day delivery.
One-Day delivery does not apply in the event of service interruptions or failures caused by events beyond Amazon.co.uk's control.
Items may be dispatched using a variety of methods, both air and ground.
