Calculating Delivery DatesHow are dispatch and delivery dates calculated? Getting Items Faster Delivery Costs Order Has Missed the Estimated Delivery Date How are dispatch and delivery dates calculated? You'll see an estimated dispatch or delivery date for each delivery during check-out, just before you place your order. An estimated delivery date (or date range) will also appear in Your Account once you've placed your order. Our estimated dispatch dates are based on several factors, including the destination address, the delivery option chosen, and how quickly we can obtain items for delivery (the availability time listed on a product's detail page). We calculate delivery estimates by taking the estimated shipping date and adding the transit time (the time it takes a package to travel from our facilities to your destination address); based on the delivery speed you've chosen. For example, if you order an item that is listed as "Usually dispatched within 2-3 days" and select First Class Delivery (which typically has a transit time of 1-2 business days), your order should arrive 3-5 business days after you place it. International customers: When orders shipped internationally reach the destination country, they may be subject to customs clearance procedures if the country is outside of the European Union. This can cause delays beyond the original delivery estimate. Getting Items FasterYou can select a different delivery speed by clicking the button next to that option on the order confirmation screen. Note that changing your delivery speed to a faster option won't speed up the delivery if the items in your order aren't available. If you want to change your delivery speed after placing the order, visit Your Account. All items listed on our site that are available to be dispatched immediately are eligible for our faster delivery options: "One-Day Delivery", "Express Delivery", and "Evening Delivery". These delivery options are not available to all UK addresses. Evening delivery is currently only available in certain postcode areas. "One-Day Delivery" and "Express Delivery" is available in most areas of the UK. Being available to be dispatched immediately does not necessarily mean your order will be dispatched on the same day, as orders need to be placed before the daily order cut-off time. This information will depend on the item location and the delivery address, so there is no unique order cut-off time. Delivery CostsVisit our Domestic Deliveries, or International Deliveries pages.
