Add Descriptive Content

As a publisher or author, it's up to you to make your listing as attractive and helpful as possible to your customers. Descriptive content is important for customers to make an informed choice and is an excellent opportunity for you to sell your product! The following are the three most important sections of information you can add to a book's detail page:

  • Description: It's important to give customers a reason to buy the book. A compelling description of the book can be a great hook. This is an opportunity to give the customer a real idea of what the book is about
  • Table of Contents: For academic titles, a table of contents is essential to tell customers exactly what the book contains.
  • Reviews: Customers want to know what others are saying about your book. If the critics are raving, let potential customers know!

You can also add back-cover copy, author/publisher comments, an author biography and an excerpt.
