Each return mailing label is uniquely assigned to a specific return. To make sure you receive the correct refund, please don't include items from other orders or other deliveries in the same box. Every return must have a separate mailing label. Return delivery costs may be deducted from your refund depending on the reason for return. Visit How To Calculate Refunds for more information. Please note that, if you're returning an item on which you have stored personal information (e.g. a laptop, camera, digital photo frame or other electronic device), you should remove all such data before returning the item to Amazon.co.uk. How can I return something I didn't order myself?Return a giftIf you return a gift purchased for you at Amazon.co.uk, you'll receive a gift certificate for the value of your return, which you can use as part or full payment for future purchases from our website. Don't worry, we won't let the person who sent you the gift know about your return. Please remember that normal returns criteria apply unless the return is due to an error on our part. If the return isn't due to an error on our part, the refund won't include the cost of giftwrapping or other services provided in connection with the purchase. The cost of returning the item to us won't be included, unless you're returning shoes that were delivered to an address within the UK. If you received or purchased a gift that was fulfilled by a third-party seller, you'll need to contact the seller directly about the return. If you return an item which was paid for with a gift certificate in part or in full, we'll refund the gift certificate portion to your gift certificate account and any non-gift certificate portion to the card used for the original transaction. Gift certificates connected to specific promotions are generally non-refundable. Please check on the terms and conditions for the individual promotion. Note: Gift recipients are not eligible for instant refunds. You will receive your electronic gift certificate 3-5 days after we receive the return of your item. If you feel your item was damaged due to poor packaging, please let us know by submitting feedback about the packaging. Defective ItemsIf your item isn't working properly, please check the product manual (which arrived with the item) and the Amazon.co.uk detail page for the product. You can usually find troubleshooting and "getting started" information there. If you need additional assistance, you need to request missing pieces or replacement parts, or you need warranty information, you may find it helpful to contact the manufacturer directly.
