Managing Your Kindle Subscriptions
To start your subscription, visit the title's detail page in the Kindle store and click the "Subscribe now with 1-Click" button. If the current issue is available for purchase without a subscription, you'll be presented with that option as well.
Note: A Kindle or Kindle Reading Application must be registered on your account to purchase content from the Kindle Store.
Items Available Via Subscription
Here's what you'll find available via subscription in the Amazon Kindle Store:
Navigating Within a Periodical
At the bottom of a newspaper or magazine you will see options for quickly navigating within an issue. When viewing a blog, you will see similar options for navigation.
Clip This Article -- makes a copy of the entire article and adds it to your "My Clippings" file.
Keep This Issue -- designates the newspaper or magazine issue as one to be stored in your Kindle until you remove it. Once selected, this option changes to Do Not Keep This Issue.
Prev article -- takes you to the previous article.
View Sections & Articles -- takes you to the section list of a newspaper or magazine when you press the 5-way.
View Articles List -- takes you to the article list of a newspaper, magazine or blog when you press the 5-way controller.
Next article -- advances you to the next article.
By default, "View Sections & Articles" for newspapers and magazines is highlighted and when you press the 5-way controller, a list of the sections with article summaries will appear. If you are viewing a blog, "View Articles List" is highlighted and pressing the 5-way controller shows a list of the blog's articles.
In the Sections & Articles view, you see the headlines of all the articles in each section. To see the Articles List of a particular section, navigate using the 5-way controller to "View Articles List" at the bottom of the screen.
To navigate to a particular article within a section or blog, simply move the 5-way controller to underline the article title and press to select.
Zooming in on Images
If you'd like to zoom in on an image, web page, or PDF document, use the 5-way controller to navigate over the image/PDF and press to zoom once a magnifying icon appears.
To zoom on an image in a magazine or newspaper:
When Kindle increases the image size, your view may change from portrait or landscape if necessary to maximise the use of the display.
Selecting Internal Links
Your reading material may also contain links to other places in the document. For example, in many books, the table of contents is set up to link to the content pages. Links are easy to spot because they are underlined. To select a link:
Your reading material may also contain external links that take you to locations on the web (if you have wireless turned on and are in range).
Viewing a Table
Your reading material may contain a large table that is not entirely contained within the screen. To see the rest of the table, move the 5-way controller up or down to bring up the cursor and then place the cursor to the left of the table. Move the 5-way controller to the right to scroll through the rest of the table.

Transferring Periodical Subscriptions
To transfer a periodical subscription for delivery of future issues from one Kindle to another, follow these steps:
Updating Subscription Payment Methods
When you purchase a subscription, that item
is billed to your 1-Click payment method. That payment method then
becomes associated with your subscription and will also be used as the
default billing method for scheduled subscription billing periods which
occur once a month.
If you wish to have future billing periods billed to another payment method, you will need to update the payment method for the individual subscription. The payment method listed must be a credit or debit card issued by a U.K. bank with a U.K. billing address.
Note: Amazon Gift Certificates cannot be used to pay subscription fees.
To update a subscription's payment method:
Reactivating and Cancelling Subscriptions
If you wish to update the status of any subscription, including reactivating a subscription you enjoyed in the past or cancelling an active subscription, simply visit the Manage your Kindle Subscriptions page.
To reactivate an inactive subscription:
When you reactivate a subscription, you may also want to verify that the payment method associated with that subscription is current. Please refer to the Updating Subscription Payment Methods section above.
To cancel an active subscription:
Once you cancel a subscription, you will stop receiving new issues immediately and you will no longer be able to re-download back issues, and a refund for the remaining balance of your subscription will be issued if applicable.
NYTimes.com Access for Kindle Subscribers
With a Kindle subscription to The New York Times, you'll also receive access to NYTimes.com. Your subscription includes complete coverage of breaking news, articles, video, audio, multimedia, and blogs on NYTimes.com.
To start accessing NYTimes.com, sign in with your Amazon.co.uk account at www.nytimes.com/kindleaccess.
Cancelling a Kindle subscription to The New York Times will also cancel access to NYTimes.com.

We work very hard to ensure the quality of all items you purchase from the Kindle Store, and Customer Service can help determine the cause of the error.
Keeping Subscription Content
Back issues of Kindle subscription content appear inside the Periodicals: Back Issues folder on your Kindle Home screen. Select this folder to view the back issues stored on your Kindle.
Only the seven most recent issues of your magazine subscriptions, and the 14 most recent issues of your newspaper subscriptions, will be stored in your Archived Items on your device. Back issues of magazines and newspapers that you subscribe to are stored and available to download again from the Manage Your Kindle page (http://www.amazon.co.uk/manageyourkindle).
To keep a back issue:
The word "Keep" now appears next to the title.
