Please see How to Trade In Your Items for more information. Back to topWhat products can I trade in?You can trade products in the Video Games (media and hardware) and Books categories. Back to topHow do I check for eligible trade in items? To find eligible items for trade-in, you can visit the Trade-In store and search by product title or specific keywords such as a product model number or manufacturer. The item you wish to trade in must match the exact version displayed in the Trade-In search results or on the product page on Amazon.co.uk. You can also look for details on the product by clicking on the product title, which will take you to the product detail page. Please see Determining Product Eligibility for detailed information. PC and Macintosh games are not eligible for trade-in. If my item isn't listed, will you add more eligible items? The Trade-In programme is being constantly updated with new titles, so check back regularly. To let us know a specific title you would like to trade in, click the feedback links in the Amazon Trade-in Store. Back to topIs there a maximum number of items I can trade in?Each individual trade-in submission is limited to a total value of up to £150. If you want to trade in items with a total value greater than £150, you'll need to make multiple trade-in submissions. Also, please note that you can trade in up to a quantity of 2 identical items within any 3-month period. For example, if you submitted one copy of a video game on January 1 and you submitted one more copy of the same video game before March 31, then you can trade-in the third copy on April 1. Back to topDo you guarantee the trade-in price listed on your website?Yes, subject to the Trade-In Program Terms and Conditions, you will receive the trade-in price listed in the Trade-in Stores via Amazon.co.uk Gift Cards. Your items must be postmarked within 7 days of submission and meet or exceed the product eligibility criteria. Your items will be verified by the merchant upon receipt. Back to topUnder what circumstances will I be paid more (or less) for accepted items?During the trade-in submission process, you will be able to choose the condition of your item. The condition description allows you to review the criteria specific to the condition you select. Upon receipt, your item will be verified using the same criteria based on the condition that you chose when submitting the trade-in. For games, hardware and accessories, you can choose the item condition to be Like New, Good, or Acceptable. If you chose a lower condition (e.g. Good) for your item and upon inspection we considered it to be in a better condition (e.g. Like New), you will be paid the corresponding higher amount. If you chose a better condition (e.g. Like New) for your item and upon inspection we considered it to be in a lower condition (e.g. Good), you will be paid the corresponding lower amount. By selecting a return option when submitting your trade-in, you can also decide to receive your item back instead of being paid a lower amount. For Books you can trade-in items that are in Good condition. If your textbook is found to be in Good condition, you will receive the corresponding amount. Books that do not meet the Good condition criteria will not be considered acceptable. Back to topWhat happens if my trade-in isn't accepted?Items that do not meet the product eligibility criteria are considered as not acceptable and will be subject to the Trade-In return terms and conditions.
