However, I've just noticed that Amazon have changed how reviews appear under a DVD. Before, you had the title of the product so could see if it was a special edition, standard vanilla version, director's cut, etc. Now it appears that you can only know if it's "DVD" or "Bluray" as they've added "format" under each review which is fine if that's all the detail you want but if, like me, you prefer the special editions that's even less information than before.Amazon, PLEASE, split DVD reviews (and scores) from Bluray reviews and if possible keep reviews for the SPECIFIC product separate too, which means no ordinary DVD reviews under the Director's cut versions, etc. Please, please, please can you do this - is that too difficult to do? Most of us want to read specific reviews on the specific product (ie, version) not a generalised, homogenised conglomeration of views which may have no relevance to what we're about to buy (or not).

Reply to this post.

Obvious astroturfing.

Note that almost all the reviews are 5 stars, by people who've positively reviewed a stack of other products from the same company (but only 1, 2 or no reviews of anything else)...Lose Weight Weight Loss Products Fat Burner Hoodia Weight Loss Supplements Green Tea Diet Capsules Chromium Magnolia Bark Fettverbrennung Appetitzügler Hoodia Guarana Grüner Tee Chromium Guggulsterones Vita Thin

Reply to this post.

A Silent Gene Theory of Evolution

This brilliant book is going to cause mayhem in the mindless US bible belt. ZDF (German TV station) sells the Paris production (or used to at least a long time ago) on VHS with time code running. Apparently there once used to be a laserdisc sold by Grand Opera Paris. I once got it offered when I was running a fan club for Barbara Hendricks, but due to the "special" price I had to refuse. Now I wished I had accepted as I got never aware of any free market release. But this one here definitely should not be the Barbara Hendricks one. Not sure how this confusion got into this system. But nobody seems to take care of it either. Maybe after these lines somebody will actually check, what is on that VHS tape. But that's not what reviews are for, folks - just to say everything is brilliant, 5 stars. Or, as far as Amazon are concerned, is it? Should they be giving a weighting to total *number* of positive - and maybe even negative - votes, rather than just the proportion? In fact, do we need the 'no' vote at all? My experience is that it is usually dropped by people who already know the product (and for whom the review is therefore not intended), and rather than thinking it 'unhelpful' merely disagree with, and want to show their disapproval of, it. What useful purpose does the no-vote serve?

Reply to this post.

Can't Complain about this DTS version

[[ASIN:B000007SIS Venus

Reply to this post.

kindle

hiim desperate to find out how to find some programming books for the kindle i understand that the book itself wont come with an emulator that could actually run any code whatsoever as this woudl be useful especially if the code could be modified it would help to test code for various different programming applicationsi understand im not allowed to program a computer or you will hack my pc and set fire to my houseim not allowed to install teh drivers for my hardware and i get less than 1% of the internet connection speed im paying for this is called valu for money?

Reply to this post.

Mr. R. Last week, Amazon US was showing almost 250 reviews for this same book, again, almost all 5-star reviews. Many of these were exact copies of reviews currently showing on the Amazon UK site. Amazon US are now showing just 3 reviews, because a little investigation has found that all the others were fake. It's well written, with very true characterizations of Ed, Al, and Mustang in particular, and is set at a point after episode 27 in that anime, if that helps place it in the timeline.
