I also got the Killers new album for almost £1 less than at iTunes own store.Having the songs in MP3 format means it will work on my iPhone and any other device, i can burn it to CD through iTunes easily and it automatically appears in my iTunes song list. Having the quality at 256kbps is also really good.By the way, in iTunes i have created a Smart Playlist that looks for the text 'Amazon.com' in the Comments field of a songs MP3 info. This new playlist will act like iTunes own Purchased list as it will show all songs bought off Amazon and updates automatically as you buy new songs. So there's my feedback on the new store, I hope Apple take note of the new competition ;)Peter

Reply to this post.

whats with the multiple down loads

i hope im not being charged for all of the duplicates

Reply to this post.

J. I don't want to beat up Amazon for the restrictions imposed by your contracts with record companies - but I have to wonder if EU law would consider it an illegal trade barrier not to allow sales across the union? I can buy anything else on amazon.co.uk and have it sent to my home in Sweden, but I can't download files?? That's a pretty baroque restriction and looks legally questionable to me.

Reply to this post.

Slow downloads

I have jumped in the deep end and bought three albums without try out the system first. I understand the need clearly mark such things at the point of sale, to "protect" minors and help us avoid buying butchered radio edits. However surely the meta data in the actual MP3s does not need to contain these extraneous warnings. I also do not understand why some, but not all, track names have certain words censored. Again I can understand why Amazon chooses to censor certain words on their website, but it is not unreasonable to expect the track names to be the same as the back of the CD jewel case. The experiences of browsing, searching, and playing music in an application like iTunes is slightly spoilt by the arguable sanitization of meta data. The problem is easily fixed but it seems like Amazon has dropped the ball slightly on the files that they actually deliver.I am still excited about the Amazon MP3 Store, and the chance to finally get rid of all the shiney plastic discs, but the catalogue is currently disorganized, and the meta data is bit of a mess.

Reply to this post.

Can't download or even buy anything

I keep getting an errror when i try to checkout of the amazon store with a digital album, first it was because one click was not enabled then i enabled it and went through the whole process and it said there was something wrong with my payment address so i changed that and the credit card details and then tried again but i keep getting some error and I can't buy anything, i have tried at least 6 times.
