Having the quality at 256kbps is also really good.By the way, in iTunes i have created a Smart Playlist that looks for the text 'Amazon.com' in the Comments field of a songs MP3 info. This new playlist will act like iTunes own Purchased list as it will show all songs bought off Amazon and updates automatically as you buy new songs.So there's my feedback on the new store, I hope Apple take note of the new competition ;)Peter

I understand the need clearly mark such things at the point of sale, to "protect" minors and help us avoid buying butchered radio edits. However surely the meta data in the actual MP3s does not need to contain these extraneous warnings. I also do not understand why some, but not all, track names have certain words censored. Again I can understand why Amazon chooses to censor certain words on their website, but it is not unreasonable to expect the track names to be the same as the back of the CD jewel case. The experiences of browsing, searching, and playing music in an application like iTunes is slightly spoilt by the arguable sanitization of meta data. The problem is easily fixed but it seems like Amazon has dropped the ball slightly on the files that they actually deliver.I am still excited about the Amazon MP3 Store, and the chance to finally get rid of all the shiney plastic discs, but the catalogue is currently disorganized, and the meta data is bit of a mess.

To top it all I've paid for them too. I'm really disappointed amazon in this service. Can't someone produce a nice easy way of downloading music to an MP3 player please?

Today i bought a track but was insisting I download the installer ... well I dont use windows, mac or Linux but RISC OS.I don't expect support. But just to have the file as an open standard MP3 file I've paid for.I used Play.com before and will do so today. It works and I can go back and download again.
