One of the the curious pieces of history is where does Iosa (Gaelic) and Isa (Arabic), Eeysa (Farsi) originate ?

Per my search:-
Hebrew - Yehohosun / Yoshua
Egyptian Coptic for Jesus is pronounced as Yay-sous/ Isos.
the Christian arabic is Yeshua/Yasou
Ethiopian orthodox church is Iyesus.
Western Syrians use Yeshu, whereas the East Syrian Nestorians, who were the source of much of Muhammed's ideas do use Isha

Welsh Iesu
Latin - Iesus
