I was unable to track down this title at first as the author's name was mentioned in One Brit, One Bike, One Big Country and I thought the title was 'Coast to Coast'. Also, I thought that Tom Cunliffe wrote only about boats. Now that I've found it, I shall probably buy and review. I think it's very nice if one author recommends another.

Somebody was kind enough to bring to my attention that my book has been mentioned on this forum. Thank you to that person and also to Helen Bennett as it was you that did the mentioning.

It is true that I mentioned Tom Cunliffe, on more than one occasion. Tom was influential in me making a 3 month trip across the USA on a Harley. We exchanged some emails before the trip and he put to bed any doubts that I had. Thank you for that Tom! Good to hear you're still getting time on BBC Radio too! Heard you last week.

It was an amazing time. I met some absolutely incredible people and saw so much of the country it made me want to pack up my home and move there. Alas that has yet to happen. However if you would like to take a look at some of the pics of the trip you can do so at www.onebritonebike.com. I made good friends and learned so much about the country. I'm also glad to say that people seem to have greatly enjoyed my observations and ramblings in the book and have kindly given me fantastic reviews.

Now, enough of my self advertising! Keith, I am no expert at publishing BUT the publisher (and editor) that I used did an excellent job for me and we published on a print on demand basis. It is very cost effective (and I do mean VERY). I can put you in touch if you wish. Email me at johnmckay@uwclub.net

Best regards

John McKay

One Brit, One Bike, One Big Country
Hi All, I am a very small publisher, editor and writer. But my main interest is in helping new authors to achieve. I am interested in all new genres, especially those which are not currently 'popular' in bookshops. I mean, who are they who tell us what readers want to read? It's a bit like the major fashion houses telling us what we're supposed to wear, or even a bit like the Government telling us our votes don't count. Need I go on..?
Anyway, it is my ambition to force the literary world to wake up and take notice. So if you are brave enough, get in touch: www.bronwynwrite.vpweb.co.uk. The World awaits your input."Star Trek" Revealed: The Spiritual Dimension of the Original Series
