This may be fine for a larger screen but utter useless on the Kindle as you can only fit a single octave on it wish I hadn't bothered loading it

5.0 out of 5 stars A wonderful trip back in time., 27 Nov. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
From the very first mention of ARNNOTT SIMPSONS where I went to see “Santa “ each Christmas I was transported back to Glasgow in the sixties the way the author brought the streets of Bridgeton back to life was a joy I remember going to visit someone in the tenements and the one room with shared lavvy was like the one in the book and I can remember feeling the terror Rupert and his sister felt when they first went to live there I had never been in a house with a bed in the living room wall before. The author captured the subjects and their antics to perfection it made me feel like one of the neighbours looking out of my window seeing the world go by while the children played on the pavement below I hope that there is more books like this to come my thanks to the author for this most enjoyable story.
