Good stuff. A distinctive lead voice, great hooks to catchy rhythms and snappy drums. Nice.

Excellent album. Sure, a distinctive voice but who wants to live in a world of TV Talent clones? Classy record, excellent musicianship and joyous production. A joy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Small but perfectly formed, 19 July 2011
Excellent idea.

Good for travelling to stick under your compact for scenic/low light/family pics etc.

Fits on the bottom of my S95 and still (just) fits in its dedicated case.

It's small but feels solid and well made. Legs move in a tight and controlled manner so you can position how you will. It's the size of your finger though, so can't see how anyone really expects it to be suitable for even a lightweight SLR!

5.0 out of 5 stars Unbelievable, 8 Nov. 2010
I moved to digital SLRs from film some time ago and went through a 450d and now use an EOS-7D, a fantastic piece of kit in its own right but then you'd expect it to be right? My little 'out and about' Kodak compact is OK but it was always a decision, "do I take my 'proper' camera and take pictures I'm pleased with, or on the occasions when an SLR is just too much to take more casual pictures with, do I take the compact and be disappointed with the results?"

So like many, I've been pondering a 'High end' compact for a while across several price ranges. I considered all the usual suspects and plumped for this because it is a genuine pocket sized compact, I'm used to Canons already and I've not seen much in the way of bad words about it, or the S90, before.

I am impressed. It is an amazing piece of engineering.

The flexibility and options are great and more useful than expected. However the fact that you can control it like a 'proper' camera too, then just stick it back in your jeans pocket, is the big plus. The actual picture quality, especially in low light, which is when this will be used most frequently, is absolutely terrific. It is very tactile, lovely to use. I personally really like the finish and got used the pop up flash position very quickly.

I keep wanting to add "...for a little compact" to every statement. It doesn't need that, it is quality kit in it's own right and very fine and intuitive to use. Yes it's not a 7D but it's more than good enough for what it's required to do.

Very pleased.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sexy beast, 27 Oct. 2010
Recently purchased this to replace a Canon IP 4000 printer, a Canon scanner and a small HP 'direct from card' printer my wife uses

So 3 boxes replaced by one and it also does direct copies, which is nice

Plugged into ethernet port on router (it also does wifi, if no spare ports) and from the moment of switch on it gives you that 'pride of ownership' feeling. Lovely piece of kit that oozes quality and the different touch menus that light up depending on chosen function are very sexy. A printer, 'sexy', who knew? Print quality is excellent and the grey ink makes black & white images a touch better in terms of contrast and definition.

Value for money piece of kit given it's quality and quantity of functions, even more so given the fine user experience.

Excellent album. Yes it's very well produced, clearly not a bad thing. Good voice, good band. I suspect that many people are playing it on a below par system which won't let the benefits of the inherent soul and technical production shine through. Good stuff. Deserves to be heard.
