5.0 out of 5 stars One of the Best Reads of My Life!, 19 Mar. 2010
Scott Lynch is an incredible author and has utterly bound me into the story of Locke Lamora and Jean Tannen. The Thorn's adventures continue to twist at every turn in both predictable and unpredictable ways. The excitment forces me to keep reading until there is no more. I now eagerly await the next thrilling installment! What an author!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Success!, 21 Oct. 2009
As a regular GM for various Dark Heresy adventures, I must say that this is Fantasy Flight's best RPG book to date. The copy I received from Amazon has the fewest typos and insensibilities than any other rulebook I have ever seen and when compared to the 1st Edition Dark Heresy rulebooks, this is a dream success!

Fantasy Flight have learnt all the lessons that arose from the Dark Heresy rulebooks and have created a beautiful work of art, an excellent and easy to read rules system packed with new and exciting innovations that will dramatically increase both the fun and genius of DH and Rogue Trader. There are many fascinating things to read and understand. Rogue Trader is very different from Dark Heresy and yet continues existing rules and concepts to make it very accessible to both new and old Warhammer 40,000 Roleplayers.

This book seems to have had the cream of FF's writers, proof readers and illustrators at hand as it is simply magnificent. When compared to the new DH books such as the Haarlock Legacy Campaign (very poor in my opinion), it is clear to see where the budget and talent was being directed!

Overall an excellent ruleset and superb book! Buy it, you won't be disappointed!

I love this DVD and recommend it to any fan of Time Team. I just wish Channel 4 would DVD all the episodes, I'd be broke but very happy!

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Good, 16 Aug. 2009
This is a wonderful mouse, everything works well. It is responsive and has no finctionality problems. It is well built and after 2 months of use is doing very well. However, it is very light in the hand which makes it feel cheap and less precise. It is large but I find it very comfortable. I give it 5 stars even though it could be weightier and its skin grippier but these are minor gripes.

5.0 out of 5 stars Well It Works, 16 Aug. 2009
Well it definately works. The 1m long cord is exactly 1m long but looking back I should have bought a 2m one as the two connectors for my PC and screen are quite far apart. Apart from that, it is well built, rugged, gold tipped and does appear to increase the resolution of my display. 2 months on and its working perfectly. I'll keep you all informed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb!, 3 Jun. 2009
This is a purely stunning piece of RPG literature which has seized the top position in my list of favourite adventure sourcebooks. It blends horror, action, adventure, comedy and the beautiful backstory of the Warhammer World and the Storm of Chaos into a fantastic adventure. The book is huge containing memorable characters, excellent diagrams and beautifully written and helpful GM hints and prompts.

I could go on but I'd just say "Amazing" about a thousand times! (joke intended)

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing, 3 Jun. 2009
This book is not worth it's rather hefty price at all. Although some GM's may like the book for its hints at using a Chaos Cult in their adventures, I have created many myself more malign and detailed than those contained in this rather disappointing and overly 'pretty' book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great, Not Perfect But Great, 3 Jun. 2009
This is an excellent and very useful book for both GM's and PC's in the WFRP line.

As far as I can determine, this wonderful tome holds all the character options from all of the supplement books released by both Black Industries and Fantasy Flight Games. There are, as always in FFG books, some typos and I hope later editions correct these often blatantly obvious mistakes.

However, it is a wonderful and useful book with short ideas and plot hooks to use interesting characters as both NPC's and PC's in your adventures...

May Sigmar go with you...

4.0 out of 5 stars Very Good, 3 Jun. 2009
This review is from: Purge the Unclean (Hardcover)
As an experienced GM, I was pleasantly surprised with the excellent ideas found in Purge the Unclean. 3 adventures can be linked together to form the beginning or core 3 sessions of an interesting and provocative campaign.

However, I most heartily recommend buying the Fantasy Flight Games version as it has been updated whilst the Black Industries version is the original.
