To hell with apple tv, this is more affordable and less lumpy to carry around. Pure pwnage... Only annoying kinks are that it is currently unable to cast the entire screen with audio (at least on my system) and the audio regularly cuts out (the simple fix is turning off your tv and turning it back on). Try to keep it on 480p for the best results. Would definitely recommend this product

Arrived quickly and works well. I had been trying to see if I could pick this up for my local barbers who disappointed me a few times. I am certain this will last me a really long time.

This album has got all the great instrumentation feature on his earlier albums. He also dedicates a song to DJ Shadow as well as has Ras kass drop one of the best rap verse of his career. The final track is sung by the late Solomon Burke and is a chilling song about loss. This is a must for anyone into baroque pop/funk/jazz.

If your tired of played out concepts in a genre many consider unimaginative.... Look no further . Doom or Viktor has the darkest sense of humor since Biggie and is much more imaginative. From obscure pop culture referenced to characters from star trek or transformers , to going on drive bys with his mum in the car . There is very little to frown at ... this album has unorthodox lyrics and production from a lot of producers I have never even heard of ....

The question is what is not too like about this album. Well, it only loses a star because I feel this beats would have been great for Edan or Mf Doom to rap to, but some of the MCs are lacklustre at times. The beats are absolute quality but man cannot live by beats alone. Any lover of hip hop will feel this album, but it hasn't really got an overarching them, except braggadocio and thankfully it's not references to money, girls etc that you get from your stereotypical MCs but rather each rapper spends the entire time detailing how ill they are. What's not to love about that ? Well, it slowly wears on you and you actually stop listening to the lyrics by the time you get half way through the record. The beats are absolutely stellar though

I don't need much to explain how amazing this album is. If u like rock, jazz, afro beat, kraut rock or just avant garde music....Insert credit card details here!!! The leader of this band is called Elliot Bergman. A man of standard, purity and just natural genius. When Nomo started out as a band, their initial leaning was toward the sound made popular by fela kuti, from that they have grown immensely, continuously evolving . Now the band has borrowed ideas from the likes of can, john coltrane, tito puente and even the legendary bum known as Moondog. I dare u to not be satisfied with this album after listening to "bumbo". It ain't safe NOMO

4.0 out of 5 stars The best West African Psych rock band ever, 26 May 2009
This review is from: Phases 1972-1982 (Audio CD)
While alot of people will be quick to overlook this compilation, be aware, it is a gem. Alot of the great west african bands died out with the rapid degeneration of their respective governments. They were the great bands like Mono Mono, the Funkees and Blo. And u can not find any of their albums online, or on vinyl. Not even in Africa, but the quality of the music was excelsior to say the least. Blo had touches of Jefferson Airplane, Cream - So mostly folky sounding psychedelia (obviously being an african band lots of percussion). I havent actually listened to this compilation, but i have listened to every song individually on their separate releases. It would have been a five if it had been a reissue of their perfect debut (called chapter one) but as it includes their later foray into pop/disco-funk, i had to take away a star.

3.0 out of 5 stars really dissappointed, 4 April 2009
This review is from: BORN LIKE THIS (Audio CD)
This album is classic by every standard, but its not an classic by Dooms standard. Let me explain, the essence of the villain is his persona, thats what made him stand out from other rappers out there and thats what made his rhymes sound so much smarter and wittier than anyone else. This album lacks that!!!!! Its not to say that his rapping is bad or the album is totally unlistenable, but what happened to his story telling ability. It seems that he has lost the motivation to do decent story and is only happy with flexing his lyrical muscle through most of the album. I promise u guys, listen to this album again and listen to the madvillian album or even danger doom and u will totally understand what i am trying to get across. Even his VV2 album which even he considers his worst album actually better than this. I can't see the colours anymore
