Very comfy, washes & fits well. I ordered the size below what I would need after reading other reviews about their generous fit.

1.0 out of 5 stars Lose shape and feel rough after a couple of washes, 8 May 2016

Nothing wrong with the service but the socks themselves have lost shape and feel rough/uncomfortable after only a couple of washes. I wouldn't buy these again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another excellent Tomita SACD release, 2 Mar. 2016

Sad news today as it was announced that Isao Tomita passed away on May 5th. He will be sadly missed. To me he will always be a genius.
"Tomita (22 April 1932 – 5 May 2016) died of chronic cardiac failure, with family at his bedside.
Tomita started his career as a composer for Nippon Columbia Co.,Ltd where he composed numerous works, including music for the first NHK Taiga drama and animation of Osamu Tezuka.
In the 70’s, he was among the first to introduce the analogue synthesizer to Japan and released numerous ambitious albums like Snowflakes Are Dancing and The Planets."

As expected (from having purchased the SACD versions of "Snowflakes are Dancing" (re-titled "Clair de Lune") & "The Planets" I was hoping that this ultimate edition would be as good as the others. It is - superb sound quality that brings a new level of clarity. The 2 additional tracks were a nice bonus. Not much else to say - if you're reading this you're probably already a fan of his work. Buy it

A superb reworking of Tomita's 1975 release. Not a remaster but reworked, remixed and presented with 1 additional track. Different in places to the original but very well presented and a must have addition for the die hard Tomita fan. Excellent sound quality too

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, 17 Feb. 2016

This is a re-working of Tomita's 'Snowflakes are Dancing' originally released in 1974. All I would say is that whilst the track listing has been swapped around a bit with a couple of extra tracks the sound quality is superb. I have the original vinyl, & the 'High Performance' CD but this version brings out sounds and atmospheric noise that I hadn't heard before and is wonderfully remixed whilst staying pretty much true to the original. The sound is so clean. If you are a Tomita fan this is a worthy addition (it can be obtained for a reasonable price through Amazon resellers).

Not up there with Hand.Cannot.Erase. It's really well produced as you'd expect and the musicianship is excellent, but I just can't get into it as a complete recording. Long story short, out of 2 CDs I can pick enough tracks to make up 1 CD that I'd listen to a lot and one that would stay in the case. There's nothing wrong with it, it's just not something that engages me as much as most of his PT work or HCE

5.0 out of 5 stars Pretty much faultless, 3 Oct. 2015

Impeccably produced, beautifully crafted and there's really not a duff track. Hints that this is his swansong maybe? I don't know but don't compare this to 'The Endless River'. That was something completely different and mostly produced from existing recordings as a way of providing a tribute to Richard Wright whilst drawing a line under the life of an amazing band. This is fresher, and just feels more complete as a recording.
