5.0 out of 5 stars Beautifully written, enduring love story, 30 Oct. 2013
This is the first love story from this very talented author and I have to say I was enthralled from page one! There are lots of plot twists that will keep you turning the pages to the very end. The characters are well developed and the description a joy to read.

The Seacrest is a poignant love story that I guarantee will have you reaching for the tissues. Every woman needs a Finn McGraw!

2.0 out of 5 stars Poor research, 28 Dec. 2012

This book is written by an American author who certainly hasn't visited Scotland in the last few years. A little research would have revealed that Scotch Whisky is spelled without an 'e.' And as someone who lived in Scotland for over twenty years, I can assure you that Highlanders do not say 'ye're' unless, or course, they lived in the 18th century!

5.0 out of 5 stars Another superb book from a very talented novelist., 1 Sept. 2011
This review is from: UNTYING THE KNOT (Kindle Edition)
Having read three of Linda's previous novels in virtually one sitting, I've eagerly awaited the release of this, her fifth novel, and it didn't disappoint. Magnus and Fay's story will resonate with anyone who's lost the love of their life for whatever reason. Linda's wonderful characterization makes you feel their pain, their hope, and most of all their unwavering love for each other. Be warned: It's an emotional rollercoaster that had me reaching for the tissues before I'd reached halfway. By the last page I was wiping away the tears with a smile. If you only read one book this year, YOU MUST READ THIS ONE.
