Great value for money, 18 Jan 2012
I ordered this DVD because I have recently taken up yoga but can only go to one class per week. I wanted something to supplement my yoga classes which would also challenge me and help me tone up and lose weight.
I have to say that I am very impressed - especially considering how cheap this DVD is. It isn't for absolute beginners because it doesn't contain any explanation as to how to carry out each move; but if you already have the basics you can't go wrong.
In terms of effectiveness I'll have to get back to you (I only got the DVD at the weekend so have only done it once so far) - but I certainly felt that I had worked hard by the end of it. It makes you sweat and I was feeling it in all my muscles the next day.
The instructor on the DVD does stress that the sequences will help you lose weight when combined with healthy eating and some cardiovascular exercise each week, so you can't use it in isolation - but you do feel inspired to eat well and look after yourself.
