2.0 out of 5 stars Opportunity here for a proof-reader., 14 Oct. 2015

I found the grammar so poor in parts that it made the book virtually unreadable. It was a struggle to make it to the end.

Complicated blend of ancient history and scifi. Enjoying the action, historical background and theoretical consequences of time travel. Shame about the lack of proof-reading, and why is a Welshman of oriental descent talking like a cross between a Scotsman 'aye' and a cockney 'mate'?

This book continues to pose questions whilst keeping up the action. The pages are turning in quite an enjoyable manner.

3.0 out of 5 stars slightly disappointed, 1 Feb. 2014

I have enjoyed the stories so far but this one did not live up to the previous 2 in the series. Having said that, it still left me wondering how Edward is going to wrap it up. Hero's descent into madness is a bit laboured, as is the 'timey-wimey' stuff. Helena's sub-plot is perhaps a bit indulgent and not relevant. Will get the final instalment if available for an appropriate number of sesterces.
