5.0 out of 5 stars Handy, 1 Oct 2011

Firstly five stars because its value for money as a storage box and does the job i intended it for , I use alot of drill bits and it holds the lot , long ,short ,spade drills , masonory , extension rods , augers ,they add up to a considerable weight the box copes with space to spare and it doesn,t buckle under the weight , the lid lifts off which i prefer to a hinged , the lid handle is strong enough for its purpose .
If you need a serious tool box for work its probably worth buying something better , if you just want something to hold a few basic household tools that stores away neatly this would probably be okay , Its thin impact resistant plastic and light but actually pretty durable , the side clips are plastic and whilst they work okay because box is new i wouldn,t want lid coming off in my hand and drill bits rolling all over a customers floor , problem solved with a cheap 99 pence elasticated bungee cord which wraps around nicely , will definately consider purchasing another , best drill storage box i have ever purchased .

Over the years i have found chris rea's music reliably moving and memorable so purchasing this latest collection of cd's and dvd's was as they say a no brainer obviously chris rea is a creative guitar player , gifted songsmith and charasmatic performer his music chart presence over the years proves this possibly because his music was initially more commercial and the hits flowed and i love them all so to go down the blues route i suspect was a risky move its less commercial and maybe has less appeal lacking the excitement of the authentic muddy waters and chuck berry no musician today i feel can express the pain and heartache of the original blues players but they can replicate the rifts and guitar chords with genuine feel and chris rea has a great bluesy voice and genuine passion for the music .

The main cd santo spirto blues i wouldn,t describe as heavy blues i would say its more in keeping with chris's original early music but improved over time , the guitar playing is excellent as always , the songs could be hits but contain more depth than your average chart single , this is an album made by a true musician its a fusion of serious guitar playing and vocals but accessible , nothing self indulgent about it i feel chris knows his audience well and the music on here is nicely balanced and quite honestly contains some lovely songs .

The other cd's and dvd's are a bonus and this is a very generous package for the money , not many musicians these days give you more than a plastic cd case , the content of the bonus cd's and dvd's is mainly spanish guitar music , beautifully played with something to watch whilst you listen . The bullfight i suspect many people will make their own minds up , it is in context with the package i dont feel its deliberate sensationalism to sell the cd , perhaps its not even a neccasary addition but it tells a story , its almost a cry for help from the matador who expresses his own pain and delusion its poetic if slaughtering a bull can ever be described as poetic i find it incredibly sad for both the bull and matador , wished i hadn't being curious enough to watch it its something which will always stick in my mind , its not that its graphic its incredibly moving .

As a music package five stars .

For me personally a much awaited and welcome album release of great songwriting and musicianship , i wouldn,t categorise the music as purist country there are a variety of dave stewart songs on here not in the context of pop hits but possibly i would compare it to spiritual cowboys era / greetings from the gutter , you know its dave stewart on vocal there.s that great trademark northern ilt i think this album has being influenced by dave's musical input with stevie nicks a sort of logical progression , dave stewarts music just resonates with me personally i have enjoyed most of his musical output and this album is no exception .

3.0 out of 5 stars buy with care, 19 Aug 2011
A very nicely designed touch phone , well made , packed with features , i bought this vairy touch to replace my aging vairy text mobile which is a superb mobile , i wanted something a bit more up to date but for me this was probably the wrong choice , i use a mobile mostly for business but i find this model very slow to rspond when navigating around the the touch screen it seems to have a mind of its own and i have to keep going back to the menu to get it to respond or to hear a voice mail or retrieve a message which is a shame because the features when they respond are excellent , also the ring tones are a bit dull , not a massive choice but i suppose you can download your own , the radio is excellent , not tried the mp3 player yet , if you need a phone for business calls i would choose another phone but if you want a smart touch screen and only make ocassional calls or send the odd text this could be for you , i,m back to using my trusty old vairy text and this is a now a spare , i would prefer this as my main phone as it's such a nice looking phone but i need ease of navigation , buy with care .

5.0 out of 5 stars small pleasure, 7 Aug 2011
This review is from: Destroyed (Audio CD)
This cd wasn,t really expensive two cd's for 10 deal in a well known record store If there are just two great tracks on here its worth the money for me personally , fifteen tracks in total some of which are simply beautiful , others classic moby which is why i bought the cd i love moby's sound so delighted with those , there are traces of play about this cd then there are sort of experimental tracks which are innofensive enough and dont offend the ears , too many tracks i find make albums drag on and on and you lose the thread but i find myself wanting to listen to this one over again skipping one or two ,plenty to choose from , fifteen tracks is a bold move for any artist but five stars because i love it .

5.0 out of 5 stars medium duty, 4 Aug 2011
Excellent value for the money ,not as heavy duty as some tote bags , but not light duty either and as a tradesman who needs a portable tool carry its totally satisfactory , plenty of iternal and external pockets which are deep enough to hold , pliers ,scewdrivers etc but not so deep that you end up having to struggle to pull out smaller tools like nail punches and scribers etc , the front long zipped pocket is very useful for holding hacksaw blades ,steel rules , etc , tape loop is handy and it has a steel clip to hold a tape measure , a really good feature with this bag is the carry handle can be pushed to one side to allow access into the bag so you are not struggling to pull tools and allows clear view to find what you need . Bag holds my most used tools but i would struggle to fit a power drill inside but i do with any tool box , i can fit in a small wood saw , tenon saw size with length to spare but is not quite long enough to fit my long hacksaw inside so it lays comfortably flat which gives you an idea of the length but everything else fits in nicely , chisels , mallet etc , like i say good for the money .

Decided to buy seven rainbows after hearing the single runaway love which is the second track on the album , I thought this album might be pure pop and easy listening if the single is anything to go by but there are some really good strong tracks on here certainly no filler , the pop suddenly turns to rock with a dancy melodic groove , track five ''how long can these streets be empty'' is almost sixties woodstock material and demonstrates the strength of Alices voice and vocal range , track nine ''sadness is coming'' different again slow and dreamy none of the tracks sound the same nor do they drag on and on , short and sweet , very well produced which makes for a very enjoyable listening experience but only ten tracks long leaves me wanting more .

I suspect a musician of stevie nicks calibre can expect mixed reviews both rave and critical its the nature of the beast and depends what your expectations are , if you go in looking for the negative i am sure you will succeed in finding it , my policy is to go in with an open mind and let the music speak although in this case i could be bias , i love both stevie nicks and dave stewart so for me this album is essential but putting that to one side i personally find this stevies strongest output to date and how i always wanted stevies solo work to sound , mellow dreamy memorable ballads are aplenty along with dave stewarts trademark brilliant guitar work and contribution , production is much tighter and whole thing just flows making it for me personally a very enjoyable listening experience ..

Without doubt a brlliant and original sound , not a weak track on here , hard to compare because the brilliant vocals and amazing music are unique almost like a new formula the producer of this work should be very proud , each track oozes brilliance , reminds me of when i first heard duffy's rock ferry and each track sent a shiver down my spine , one reviewer describes this as a great wall of sound and thats precisely what it is , Its so nice to buy a cd unheard , play it and find it exceeds your expectations , some might say some of the reviews here are perhaps over enthusiastic but just listen to this album and you might agree its a nominee for a top album of 2011 its mesmerising and goes from strength to strength ...
