5.0 out of 5 stars Album of the year?, 18 Oct 2012
This review is from: Lonesome Dreams (Audio CD)
This is a brilliant album and deserves to be a huge hit. It is one of those rare albums with no dud songs or filler. The harmonies are amazing , and blend perfectly with some great guitar playing. My favourite tracks were ghosts on the shore and lullaby. Buy this album and bore your friends by keep talking about it! He also has two great ep's out too

5.0 out of 5 stars Come Back Soon!, 24 Jun 2010
Off the Rails continues on from the previous instalment, i won't give much away incase you haven't read the last one. You do really need to read On The Loose before this one. This is a fantastic read from the most underrated Crime author around. It has quick smart humour and a detailed and hugely interesting historical side. Wonderful Characters too. If you haven't started this series yet, do! You will soon be trying to convert your friends to the series. Mr Fowler has said he wants to write more, but sales to have to be right. So buy it by the dozen! I read this on his amazing web site, a must read with excellent features and probably the best blog on the net at the moment

1.0 out of 5 stars A Hatchet Job, 30 Mar 2010
You can't libel the dead, a good thing too for Roland Huntford!
Although acted well the material is so slanted it is hard to take an objective view. In Huntfords eyes Scott can do nothing right and i mean nothing. All he does is knock Scott. The film does the same. Scott is not perfect, who is, but he is not the monster portrayed here. The Coldest march and Ranalph Fienes bio have shown a lot of Huntfords claims to be unfounded. It is interesting Hunford refused to meet fienes to talk about his book. About time for a fair account of this event is well due.

5.0 out of 5 stars A bit harsh, 15 Feb 2010
This review is from: An Empty Death (Paperback)
I think people have been a little harsh with this book. It has a few stories in it aside from the main one. I loved it and the couple of other people i know who have read the two in the series can't wait for the next. There are a LOT worse thrillers than this around.
Give it a try.

2.0 out of 5 stars A let down!, 3 Jan 2009
Was really looking forward to this release, but was let down by it. It is, as said in other reviews the weakest of the series of diaries. Not really that funny and seems short of ideas and direction, and also a bit on the short side. Would wait till the paperback comes out, not worth a hardback price.
