Britax Duo Plus Group 1 Car Seat (Max/Black)
Britax Duo Plus Group 1 Car Seat (Max/Black)

3.0 out of 5 stars Not as confortable as I hopped for, 12 Dec 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
After looking at many car seats for our 2 year old and not wanting to spend 300 on another seat, bought this one since it had a big discount.

It is safe (it doesn't move at all with the isofix system), but it is not that confortable for my toddler. Her legs dangle a lot since the seat is not that deep, the headrest is not good (I have to put a cloth diaper holding her head when she is sleeping since her head moves from side to side in our usual montain roads, nothing like that happens with the good headrest of the expensive 0+/1 seat our 8mth old is using) and the reclining system does not recline that much in our very straight car seats.

If I had payed full price for this I would have sent it back.

Munchkin Baby Snack Catcher Blue/Green
Munchkin Baby Snack Catcher Blue/Green
Offered by The Baby and Toy Store
Price: 3.99

4.0 out of 5 stars Good for toddlers, 11 Dec 2012

This is our 2nd unit since our toodler lost our 1st one, great to avoid spilling the whole of your snacks in the shops when you carry them inside an ordinary cup and your toddler decides to turn it upside down. It is easy to acess the snacks from the top and it prevents most of them falling out.

However, if your baby/toddler wants to it is easy to make a mess all the same, since if they hold it by the middle of the membrane it gets open and then it is so much fun to wave it and watch the snacks fly (a fun sport for our 8 month old...)

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for babies and toddlers, 11 Dec 2012

We attend our concerts for babies every month and they use their wave drums a lot, so we had to have one for when our 28 month old performs her own concerts at home.

We've had the baby wave drum from haliliti since she was a baby but that one is small and since it is made of plastic, the sound was not that good. When this big wave drum arrived she was thrilled and played with it for a long time, and our 8 month old is very interested too.

The sound is very strong, it is resistant (it gets dropped and used with drumsticks and it is still as new), and big enough for being the central instrument in our play concerts.

However, it is nothing like the wave drum the professional musicians of the concerts have (those ones are bigger, have an even stronger sound, end up being stepped on with no consequences, and give a great visual effect since they are transparent and this percussion plus one is not). But for the price you get this one it is great.

MAM Bibetta Ultra Bib Bubbles (Pink)
MAM Bibetta Ultra Bib Bubbles (Pink)

4.0 out of 5 stars Good fabric and design but small size, 11 Dec 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Ordered 2 of this thinking it was the same as the other 4 bibetta bibs we've been using for 2 years (great design and size, great fabric, easy to wash with the rest of the laundry, great durability), but it is much smaller.

We do baby lead weaning so not much use for my 8 month old (most of the food bits end up falling in her legs and her shirt gets food on the sides). My 28 month old toddler is the one using these, and they catch the occasional bit of rice and absorb the ocasional spill of soup when she gets her spoon too full. On the good side she is now wearing a smaller bib since she is a big girl and knows how to eat by herself, so this might be a good bib for toddlers in such situations.

The pad has a good number of sheets (A3 size or something similar) and is perfect of finger painting, since it doesn't absorb paint right away like regular paper. It takes about a day to dry the finger paint.

The only issue is that if you want the painting to be more complex and have several colours it is best to use just one, leave it to dry and paint the other colour the next day.

It worked great for our artistic 17m old to make nice Christmas paintings for the whole family.

This review is from: Truck & Sand Set (Toy)
Much cheaper than other sets I looked at, and seems durable.

Ours (shipped directly by amazon) had the truck featured on the picture but a better looking shovel, rake, a mold for a star and a mold for a shell, and a nice looking bucket. All except the truck (which is quite big) get played regularly on the bath.

Good value for money since it is a big set, seems durable and has several uses.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for role play, 4 Feb 2012
= Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:5.0 out of 5 stars
Really great set with a good number of pieces, enabling you to build a large clinic where the duplo people can play inside (not always the case with duplo sets).

It has several good features exclusive of the set, great for a sick child to play out their stuff or simply for a healthy one to treat their duplo people - a doctor with a stethoscope, a piece with medicines, a piece with a radiography, a wheelchair, a cast that also works as crutches and a stretcher. It also other rare pieces in duplo sets, as 2 beds with bed clothes (and a 3rd one extra), a sink, a chair and a baby figure. And of course, for the toddler who loves sounds, an ambulance with lights and sounds.

In our case, our 18m old opened it when she had a respiratory infection and had to go to the doctor and take several medicines, so she played a record of 2 straight hours with it right way and keeps coming back to it several times a day to treat herself, other people and her toys. Since she had hearth surgery when she was 14m she loves stethoscopes and the radiography became an ecocardiogram machine, and also an eco machine to see her baby sister inside mummy's bellie... So if your toddler is a fan of health things this is the best set, and if she is afraid of them it is also great to play out those fears instead of keeping them.

Fisher-Price Sing Along Star Stage
Fisher-Price Sing Along Star Stage

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for playing and singing with baby, 11 Jan 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
My baby got this for Christmas when she was 5 months old and it became her favourite as soon as she tried it.
This is the 1st toy aged 6 months to toddler age that we find is really for a 6 months old baby. It is perfect for playing while sitting, it is good for parent/baby interaction and it is easy to play with for the baby - she can easily press on the instruments (and chew on them also of course). Her 2 and 4 year old cousins where also attracted to it.
Overall, a great buy totally worth the money.
