1.0 out of 5 stars Utter Rubbish., 19 Aug. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Utter rubbish. Bought it and it worked fine with the starter cartridges in it. When they ran out which was pretty quickly I bought four compatibles. Within a few prints started getting error messages. Brother warranty still valid but they are saying because compatibles used they will charge if it is found they are the problem. They suggest I buy four Brother genuine cartridges and if that doesn't fix the problem they will deal with it under warranty but will charge.

2.0 out of 5 stars Should have been called "...and then I said this to her", 27 Oct. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Started off well but I gave up around chapter 10. The author reminded me of one of those irritating people who want to tell you what they said to someone else all the time. They always think what they said was witty and clever and more often than not it wasn't. But, they continue to bore you and you dread the "...and then I said this to her."

2.0 out of 5 stars Did he write God Save The Queen as he certainly didn't sing it, 3 Jun. 2012
This review is from: Anthems (Audio CD)
What's going on here? Spotify clearly lists God Save The Queen as the last track on this album and lists Watson as the artist. If he's not singing on it what exactly did he do?

2.0 out of 5 stars Good effort but needs more ability, 7 April 2012

Unfortunately it is the way of the commercial world that ensures existing "names" get to record, publish or present based on their past successes. This I am afraid applies very much to Ms Townsend and her new book. If a newcomer had presented this for publishing they would have been rejected out of hand.

A difficult theme of woman taking to her bed for a year is the mainstay of this work but is let down by some extremely childish story-telling. Characters with names which sound like they were invented for five year olds to remember and on occasion drifting into pure ramblings.

I initially thought the book may go along the lines of Mark Haddon's excellent book A Spot of Bother but sadly it didn't. I managed to get to the end but it took quite a while.

Kenwood Multi Pro FP735 3 Litre Food Processor, 900 Watt, Silver

1.0 out of 5 stars Load of Rubbish, 27 Oct. 2011
Whoever designed this procuct at Kenwood should be sacked for gross misconduct. They have obviously never used it or they would have withdrawn it immediately. The central spindle drops on the floor whenever you lift the bowl off. What a ridiculous waste of time.

Rubbish with a capital R - don't waste your money.

1.0 out of 5 stars Sent it back, 14 Oct. 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Received this yesterday and sent it back today - the main blade shafts don't connect properly to the motor shaft and come off whilst you are whizzing - dangerous I think. Typical of Kenwood - the last thing I bought from them was a food processor and the main spindle that the bowl sits on isn't fixed so every time you release the bowl the spindle falls onto the worktop/floor - designer of this should be sacked. Have decided to avoid Kenwood from now on.

1.0 out of 5 stars Chop it up and throw it away, 26 Nov. 2008
I purchased this item two days ago. On first glance it does indeed look stylish and practical. It is however a chopping board with a major problem. The boards mark with even the lightest touch of a knife. Therefore within 10 minutes I had two boards which were heavily scuffed and marked by a bread knife and a meat knife. The marks are quite heavily indented - if you run your finger across them you can actually feel the marks. Whoever designed this product obviously never used it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Biggest pile of bull on the market, 30 Mar. 2008
I have never written a review on here before but make an exception in this case simply to say that this book is absolutely awful. It makes the man seem so shallow and pathetic. If he ever reads these reviews, which I am sure he won't because he'll be too busy thinking how wonderful he is, he would be very well advised to take seriously the negative comments before writing the sequel.
