1.0 out of 5 stars A waste of money!, 18 Dec 2012
This is a weak and badly constructed product! All fittings are plastic and mine broke within hours of fitting. The fitments are cheap and weak plastic. It is a con to sell what is an expensive toilet seat which is so shoddily made! Avoid!

Tune Up is a nifty tool for messy I Tunes library but it made my whole system unstable and crash several times until I UN-installed it finally.

1.0 out of 5 stars Shoddy build and construction., 7 April 2011

I bought one of these camera bags for my precious new Canon SLR. The zip tag fell off in the first week. Then the top carrying handle broke which could have led to my expensive camera and lenses falling to the ground! Luckily I had hold of the arm strap at the time which stopped it falling to the ground . The inserts ceased to grip after a while, the Velcro partitions being flimsy and weak.

In all this purchase has been a big mistake. The quality of this bag is dreadful and I am going to have to invest in a more quality carrier for what is expensive equipment.

5.0 out of 5 stars A much needed book., 22 Oct 2010
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Insider Art (Hardcover)
Matthew Meadows well researched and illustrated book looking at the art produced in secure institutions, prisons and secure psychiatric hospitals is a much needed publication featuring the significance and art making for people incarcerated, often for many years and how creativity provides a means of significant expression and indeed a mechanism for understanding and exploring self and the world in which they live. It is also significant that many of these "insiders" only began to make art when they were incarcerated giving strength to the theory that people use symbols and language to articulate their lives particularly when they are thrust into confinement.

An excellent introduction by Turner prize winner Grayson Perry in which he states "This is an important book for it puts forward a powerful case for a more compassionate prison system without passing judgement; it just says look, these people have made mistakes but they make beautiful art".

I for one agree with Grayson's observation and wholeheartedly recommend this book to anyone involved in the management of secure institutions to artists and more to inspire those who find themselves for what ever reason confined "inside" prisons and secure psychiatric hospitals that art make a difference to their lives.
