5.0 out of 5 stars Everyone vote this Album of the Year, 17 May 2015
This review is from: ARK (Audio CD)
Absolutely loving the new album. I was so disappointed when Dan Brown left awhile back, as I thought Go Now And Live was a classic. Why was there a need to change a winning formula? However, Ark has restored my faith in you guys. It is truly truly brilliant. So looking forward to The Electric Ballroom and Slam Dunk next weekend. Well done guys!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Live DVD by a Great Band, 18 Mar. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Fantastic live show by a fun, punk pop band, who never take themselves to seriously. Great energy and great sound, but missing my favourite song, 'I Don't Care', as it hadn't been written yet. Maybe the extra footage should have showed more of the band rather than just Pete Wentz.

Lovely light-weight, easily compressible jacket by Helly Hansen with like a primaloft material as warm. Can be used as an undercoat or as a light-weight top layer.

Catchy, melodic, hard rock rifts and hooks following on from the debut EP. A must-go-and-see band if you like good-lyrical, indie rock bands. Booked to see them this summer twice and excited about what they are going to do next. Destined for great things.

A must-go-and-see, up-and-coming band that I am sure will make it big. Great debut EP. Also a great follow-up album now released. Already seem to have a bit of a cult following.

Excellent debut solo album by Mark Tremonti (guitarist from Alter Bridge and Creed) with hardly a weak song in sight. Heavier than anything Creed or Alter Bridge would produce, but that is probably why Tremonti has recorded this album. Not only is Mark reknowned for his excellent guitar-playing but a surprisingly good voice he has too. Hidden away all these years it seems strange that a solo album has to bring it to light. With Corey Taylor voted hardest working man in rock Mark Tremonti can't be far behind.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love this band....love the album, 17 Dec. 2012

Hinder are maturing into a very good, easy-listening, but still hard and edgey rock band. All they need to do is tour the UK and capture the British public's imagination with their catchy, melodic sounds. This is simply their best since their debut album and possibly better than that. I can't stop playing it. The first four songs are superb rock songs with 'Should Have Known Better', an up-tempo ballad that is on constant repeat in my car. The album is well written and produced, whether the band had help doing it, it doesn't really matter, as they have found their niche and though not heading in the right direction....they have surely reached their destination.

5.0 out of 5 stars Corey Taylor.....You would never know it is the same singer!!, 12 Oct. 2011
I like Stone Sour but I don't like Slipknot!!

Audio Secrecy is the latest offering by Stone Sour, Corey Taylor's other band, but you would never believe it is the same singer. The two bands are such a contrast.

This is the third album Stone Sour have recorded and they just seem to get softer and more melodic. However this is not a bad thing as there are some seriously catchy tunes with the track 'Say You'll Haunt Me' being the highlight. I just can't stop playing it, with the whole album growing more and more on me the more I play it. Not only does Corey Taylor change his singing style but his looks too, going from long-haired to crew-cut.

I unfortunately missed Stone Sour in England last year as I hadn't really heard of them. I would have loved to have seen them at The Download Festival, better known as The Monsters of Rock Festival, in my day. There are some amazing American rock bands out there at the moment, that don't play just 'thrash', bands such as Three Days Grace, Shinedown, Seether, Theory of a Deadman, Black Stone Cherry, Breaking Benjamin and of course Stone Sour. I wish these bands would tour the UK and educate the British youth what true music is all about. Long Live Rock 'n' Roll, well American rock at least!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Creed back together after seven years apart. Great show, 6 July 2011

This review is from: Live [DVD] [2009] (DVD)
Love this live DVD of an awesome band re-united after seven years. Whether they stay together is another thing as three of the members of the band play with Alter Bridge, who again, are brilliant live and gathering global success. Creed offer subtle guitar play, catchy melodies and deep, rich vocals, as opposed to Alter Bridge's high-pitched vocals and thunderous guitars. Scott Stapp looks good bare-chested with his new crew-cut hair style and knows how to get the crowd going in his own definitive manner. Fantastic lights and pyrotechnics that lend to a great show, however some people say his vocals aren't as powerful as Myles Kennedy (lead singer/guitarist) of Alter Bridge. Maybe so, but I prefer Scott Stapp's deeper Irish-sounding vocals to Myles Kennedy's high-pitched, almost screaming tone. I shouldn't really compare bands as both are fantastic live and in the studio.

Overall, this is a very good live show with great 'behind-the-scenes' footage of the band on this reunion tour. LONG MAY CREED CONTINUE!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great value for money, four-sided DVD and CD, 6 July 2011
Like Three Days Grace, Shinedown know how to give a live show......REAL RAW ENERGY AND EMOTION. Shinedown need to tour Europe especially the UK. They would surely obtain global success and a bigger fan-base. There are some brilliant American bands that people in the UK know so little about. SHINEDOWN are huge in my eyes, I love them to bits. American rock easily beats the mundane, depressing dross us Brits churn out. This DVD/CD has both an acoustic and electric live show in audio and video. Plenty to keep the fans happy during the interim of writing new material for an album. This DVD/CD is great value for money, following on from their brilliantly acclaimed Sound of Madness album, demonstrating why Shinedown are such a fantastic live act too.
