the story of the famous evacuation of the BEF from france in world war two
a well written book that covers the major points of the campaign, but a little sparse on the le paradis massacre but never the less well worth buying. i read this book straight after reading PILLAR OF FIRE by ronald atkin which in my opinion is a better book but both read together jolly good fun.
my only gripe about this book is no photos which would have been nice but for 1p plus postage it was good value for money
